Vintage work visible in the photo, it is an old booklet titled "AU SERVICE DE LA FRANCE" (IN THE SERVICE OF FRANCE), subtitled "Closing speech by Maurice Thorez". This document was published on the occasion of the 10th National Congress of the French Communist Party, held in Paris from June 26 to 30, 1945. The cover features a sober typographic frame, typical of militant editions from the immediate post-war period, with a clear layout and monochrome black printing on cream paper.

The name of Maurice Thorez, then Secretary General of the French Communist Party, appears prominently, as does the mention of the "Manifesto to the French Nation unanimously adopted by the Xth Congress." The publisher's address is explicitly indicated at the bottom of the page: "Éditions du Parti Communiste Français, 44, Rue Le Peletier - Paris-9e." The original price, "5 francs," also appears on the cover, testifying to its public distribution at the time.
