Description
Original instruction booklet for the LEGO Technic 8020 set, as shown in the photo. This manual features a full-color illustrated cover, typical of 1980s LEGO instruction manuals, with black and yellow construction site-patterned borders. The illustration highlights two models that can be built with the set: a yellow and black propeller structure, and a yellow utility vehicle with black wheels and a spare tire on the roof. The bottom of the page shows a detailed diagram of the technical parts (bars, gears, axles) used in the set, accompanied by their visual references and size or tooth count indications for the gears (z8, z16, z24, z40).
The classic LEGO logo, on a red and white background, is clearly visible in the upper right corner of the cover. The set reference "8020" is inscribed in the upper left, in clear characters on a black background. The graphic style and presentation are typical of the LEGO Technic range from the late 70s to the late 80s, with a sober and functional layout, focused on the clarity of instructions and the technical aspect of the constructions.
The visible side of the booklet shows slight signs of wear, particularly discreet marks on the edges, but the overall condition remains clean and legible. No handwritten text or major defects are visible on the presented cover. The side binding, visible on the left, appears to be still well-held, with no apparent tears on the shown side.
This manual is intended to accompany the LEGO Technic 8020 set, allowing for the construction of various mechanical models, as illustrated. The appearance of the paper suggests an period support, with a matte print and slightly aged colors.
The back, interior, or other pages are not visible in the photo and are therefore not described here.
Condition
Used item sold as is, with slight signs of wear visible on the cover. The overall presentation remains good for a period instruction manual.
Did you know? The first LEGO Technic sets appeared in 1977, introducing mechanical elements such as gears, axles, and perforated beams. The 8020 set is part of this first generation, allowing children to discover the basics of mechanics through construction play.
