Set of 3 vintage folding knives from the 70s, metal and plastic handle

Description

This lot includes three antique folding knives, shown closed in the photo. Each knife features a simple design typical of utilitarian models from the second half of the 20th century. Two of them have marbled-look handles, one in green-gray hues and the other in a dark gray tone, suggesting a plastic or resin finish. The third knife, at the bottom of the image, has an entirely metallic handle with a matte surface, equipped with an integrated hanging ring at the end.

The general shape of each knife is elongated and compact, characteristic of multi-tool pocket knives popular in the 1970s. The visible fastening rivets on each model attest to traditional assembly. No markings, logos, or inscriptions are clearly legible on the visible side of the handles.

The top knife has a green-gray marbled surface, with visual variations reminiscent of synthetic mother-of-pearl, while the middle one shows a more pronounced patina and a worn gray surface, with accentuated traces of oxidation and wear. The bottom knife, with a more streamlined design, reveals the folded blade and a simple pivot mechanism. The metal hanging ring is designed for attachment to a keychain or chain.

All three knives show signs of use: scratches, traces of oxidation, and small impacts are noticeable, particularly on the handles. The surfaces exhibit an authentic patina, enhancing their retro and antique character. No additional decoration, engraving, or pattern is visible on the exposed side.
