This lot consists of four antique religious medals of various shapes, intended to be worn as pendants. The medals predominantly feature a metallic finish with a gilded or silvered patina, typical of religious objects from the 19th and 20th centuries. The set showcases emblematic figures of Catholicism, engraved in relief on each visible side.

The first medal, round, bears a profile of Pope Pius XII accompanied by the inscription "PIUS XII PONTIFEX." The portrait is rendered in bas-relief with a smooth rim and an integrated suspension loop. The second round medal, of a similar style, features the bust of Saint Maria Domenica Mazzarello, recognizable by the inscription "SANCTA MARIA DOMINICA MAZZARELLO" around the perimeter.

The third medal, oval in shape, depicts the Virgin Mary full-length, with open arms, surrounded by the English text "O MARY CONCEIVED WITHOUT SIN PRAY FOR US WHO HAVE RECOURSE TO THEE." The relief is finely detailed, with a satin texture on the background, and a suspension loop at the top.

The fourth medal is distinguished by its diamond shape adorned with small floral motifs at the corners. It features a profile of the veiled Virgin Mary, in a more stylized manner, with a smooth background and a prominent halo. The rim shows a slight patina, highlighting the antiquity of the piece.

Each medal shows precise details: drapery, halos, inscriptions, and floral motifs, all visible on the presented side. Suspension loops are present on each piece, allowing immediate use as a pendant or for integration into a rosary. The overall condition shows homogeneous surface wear, marked by traces of oxidation, small scratches, and an age-appropriate patina, with no major visible chips.
