This lot features a varied selection of Egyptian postage stamps, visible on the front of a stockbook with horizontal strips. Several dozen stamps are present, mixing old issues and modern examples. The stamps display a wide diversity of designs, with many historical, cultural, and natural subjects specific to Egypt.

Notably, there are representations of emblematic monuments such as the Giza pyramids, archaeological sites and mosques, as well as stylized views of traditional boats on the Nile. Several stamps are illustrated with portraits, particularly of Egyptian historical figures. Some examples feature detailed floral motifs, with vivid hues (red, pink, green), while others display scenes of daily life or official symbols (emblems, coats of arms, scientific instruments).

The color palette is broad: shades of blue, orange, green, red, yellow, violet, and brown dominate the collection, with both monochrome and polychrome prints. The majority of the stamps are canceled, some being new with no visible postmark. Several face values are legible, ranging from 3 milliemes to over 2.30 LE, indicating a significant chronological span.

Some stamps bear inscriptions in Arabic and English, typical of Egyptian issues, and mentions such as "EGYPT," "UAR" (United Arab Republic), or visible dates (e.g., 1981) can also be seen. Several designs are clearly inspired by Pharaonic iconography and Islamic art, typical of Egyptian philatelic productions.

This lot thus offers a representative overview of Egyptian philately, from classic to more contemporary stamps, with a diversity of themes and graphic styles. All visible pieces are mounted in a transparent protective sleeve.

Condition

Used items, sold as is: some stamps show traces of cancellation, handling marks, or slight wear visible on the edges. Other examples appear to be in good condition, with well-preserved colors and clear designs. The storage sleeve is included in the photo.
