This lot of French stamps primarily features Ceres and Napoleon III type stamps, canceled and recognizable by their profile medallion effigy on a blue background, typical of the classic period of French philately. The blue stamps at the top of the photo display the portrait of the Republic (Ceres), with the mention "REPUB FRANC" and a visible face value on some specimens. Several numerical cancellations or circular postmarks are clearly visible, indicating effective postal circulation.

The lower part of the lot gathers more recent stamps, mostly blue, red, or purple, including several advertising specimens.
