This lot consists of four cancelled French stamps, mounted on a clear page. The stamps are all related to the major figure of Charles de Gaulle and the theme of the French Resistance, with a dominance of the Cross of Lorraine, a historical symbol associated with Free France. Two stamp models are visible, each with a face value of 2.30 francs, issued by the French Republic, with the mention "LA POSTE".

The first model, top left and bottom right, features a tricolor blue-white-red graphic composition, the stylized Cross of Lorraine, and the inscription "18 JUIN 1940 APPEL À LA RÉSISTANCE" (June 18, 1940 Call to Resistance). These stamps are cancelled, one with a "PREMIER JOUR PARIS" (First Day Paris) postmark dated June 16, 1990, the other with an "ASSEMBLEMENT GAULLISTE DE FRANCE 13 MARSEILLE 16-17 NOV 90" (Gaullist Assembly of France 13 Marseille Nov 16-17 90) postmark and the portrait of Charles de Gaulle.

The second model, top center and bottom left, features a drawn portrait of Charles de Gaulle on a purple and blue background, accompanied by the Cross of Lorraine, with the inscription "CHARLES DE GAULLE 1890-1970". These stamps are also cancelled, one with the "24 FÉVRIER 1990 59 LILLE PREMIER JOUR" (February 24, 1990 59 Lille First Day) postmark, the other with the same "ASSEMBLEMENT GAULLISTE DE FRANCE 13 MARSEILLE 16-17 NOV 90" postmark.

The cancellations are clear and thematic, some with effigies, which enhances the philatelic interest of the lot. The colors of the stamps are vibrant, with no visible discoloration on the presented side. The presentation on a clear page highlights the whole, ideal for storage in a philatelic album.
