Description

This lot includes several Indochina stamps visible in the photo, from the French colonial era. On the upper part, two red 10-centime stamps are visible, illustrating the Angkor Wat site, with the words "Postes Françaises" (French Posts) and "INDOCHINE". These stamps feature detailed motifs of landscapes and monuments typical of Cambodia, with fine graphic borders and an effigy on the right.

Below, a blue 25-centime stamp presents the same graphic style, also dedicated to Indochina. Other stamps are visible: a 1-centime "INDO-CHINE RF" copy with a female portrait, as well as canceled blue and gray stamps, one of which bears the inscription "10c INDOCHINE" and a partially legible circular postal cancellation mark.

The lot includes airmail stamps ("POSTE AÉRIENNE"), including a large brown 2-piastre model depicting a tank scene, signed by the engraver H. Nandrin, as well as another brown airmail stamp with a stylized airplane and the inscription "INDOCHINE POSTE AÉRIENNE" in geometric lettering.

The illustrations are varied, mixing landscapes, historical scenes, and emblematic architectural representations of French Indochina. The dominant colors are red, blue, brown, and gray. Several stamps bear cancellation marks, while others appear new with no visible cancellation marks on the front.

Some stamps show regular perforations, typical of philatelic production from the first half of the 20th century. The motifs and inscriptions are generally well preserved, although some stamps show slight signs of handling or visible cancellations.

Condition

Used items sold as is. The stamps show signs of use, with cancellations and possible handling marks visible on the front. Some copies appear in good visual condition, others bear cancellation marks or slight traces of wear.
