Description

This lot consists of cancelled stamps primarily from Poland (POLSKA) and Hungary (MAGYAR POSTA), presented on an album page. Several themes are represented, including fauna (horses, cattle, stylized animals), flora (various floral motifs), sports (skiing, hockey, figure skating scenes, probably related to the Olympic Games), as well as historical and commemorative subjects.

The upper part of the page features four Polish stamps illustrating different flowers, each bearing the inscription "60 gr POLSKA" and detailed botanical illustrations on pastel or dark green backgrounds. Below this row, there are triangular and rectangular stamps mainly illustrating horses, some in full race or gallop, as well as an orange stamp depicting cattle, all issued by the Polish post office.

The central section includes a horizontal strip of sports-themed stamps, notably with illustrations of skiers and ice hockey players, often associated with Olympic symbols and face values such as "60 gr" or "90 gr".
