Description

Vintage Bernina brand sewing machine, presented in its original hard case. The set includes the machine visible from the front, an accessory identifiable as a foot pedal also bearing the "BERNINA" brand, as well as a paper guide titled "My BERNINA 801 802 811 812 guide" placed in the lower compartment of the case. The machine has a uniform beige color, typical of electromechanical equipment from the 1970s-1980s. The main block shows a massive rectangular format, with rounded corners and an integrated molded handle in the case for easy transport.

On the front, the "BERNINA" logo is clearly legible, accompanied by a serial number visible at the bottom left (20022551). Two metal spool pins are inserted on the top left. The main mechanical controls are on the front, including a black rotary knob and several beige plastic buttons and levers matching the rest of the device. The sewing plate, the needle area, and the presser foot holder are clearly visible, as is the power socket on the lower left side. The set shows a patina of use, with traces of slight oxidation, dust, and dirt visible on several parts, particularly the ventilation grille and the plate.

The molded plastic case, also beige, has dedicated compartments for the machine and its accessories. The inside of the lid houses the machine, while the base contains the pedal and documentation. No additional parts or accessories are visible apart from those mentioned. The paper guide suggests compatibility with several referenced Bernina models (801, 802, 811, 812), which may indicate the production period and the target range.

The set has a robust appearance, true to the Swiss manufacturing of the Bernina brand, renowned for the longevity of its mechanical and electromechanical sewing machines. The sober lines and the arrangement of the controls recall industrial productions from the late 20th century. The general condition suggests that the device requires restoration or a technical overhaul before optimal use.
