Visual description

The magazine shown in the photo is an original copy of Charlie Hebdo, identifiable by its typical cover and recognizable lettering. This is issue 347, dated Thursday, July 7, 1977, as indicated at the top left of the front page. The cover features a satirical illustration by Cabu, depicting an expressive ape-faced character wearing a helmet, with bloodshot red eyes and a gaping mouth with prominent teeth. This caricature occupies almost the entire cover, in a graphic style of black, gray and white with touches of red for the eyes and text.

The headlines printed in large black and red letters announce: "toute la vérité" (the whole truth), "CHARLIE HEBDO", "BISON FUTÉ EST UNE GROSSE VACHE" (BISON FUTÉ IS A BIG COW – a play on words related to French traffic reports). Cabu's signature is clearly visible at the bottom right of the drawing, confirming the cover artist. The paper has a typical appearance of satirical press magazines from the 1970s, with a matte texture and a slight age-related patina. The top of the cover is slightly dog-eared, and a handwritten annotation "8F" appears in the upper right corner, probably an old price or an archive reference.

The magazine is photographed on a wooden surface, which highlights its slightly yellowed hue, characteristic of old newsprint. No other elements or the back are visible in the photo; the advertisement strictly concerns the cover and front page of Charlie Hebdo issue 347.

Condition

Used item and sold as is. The copy shows visible signs of wear: dog-eared corners, creases, age patina, and handwritten annotation on the cover. The cover remains generally legible and the magazine's structure appears intact on the visible side.
