Visual Description

This vintage magazine, titled "Moto Journal," is presented here in its issue number 302. The cover, typical of the 80s in its graphic style, displays a "MOTO JOURNAL" logo in red and white capital letters on a black background. The magazine number (302) as well as the original price (5F) and the mention "LE NUMÉRO" (THE ISSUE) are clearly visible at the top right. A large photograph occupies most of the cover: it shows a biker in mid-jump, capturing the spectacular spirit of motorcycling of that period.

Article titles are printed in pink, white, and black, drawing the eye to key topics such as "PRIEUR LE FILM DU RECORD" (PRIEUR THE RECORD FILM), "PSYCHANALYSE DU MOTOPHOBE" (PSYCHOANALYSIS OF THE MOTOPHOBE), "LES ELEPHANTS" (THE ELEPHANTS), and "TRIAL : L’HEURE H" (TRIAL: ZERO HOUR). A blue and red insert at the bottom left announces a "SUPER CONCOURS QUESTION 5" (SUPER COMPETITION QUESTION 5), reinforcing the interactive aspect of the magazine at the time.

At the top right, a yellow banner highlights a "Comparative test Peugeot 103 / Motobécane 51 / Honda Camino," emphasizing the interest in popular moped models in the early 80s. The blurry and dense crowd scene in the background accurately reflects the atmosphere of major motorcycle events covered by the magazine.

The paper shows a slight patina and typical handling marks of a used copy, but no major defects are visible on the front presented. The colors remain vibrant despite its age, and the back of the magazine is not visible in the image.

The overall layout, with its colorful inserts, massive typography, and action photographs, is characteristic of French specialized motorcycle publications from the 1980s.

Condition
