Description

This vintage magazine is an original copy of "Moto Journal", issue 391, dated a Thursday (price 6 Francs), clearly identified on the visible cover. The front visual features graphics very typical of the 80s, with the "MOTO JOURNAL" logo in massive red letters on a black background, accompanied by a dynamic and colorful layout, faithful to the retro aesthetic of motorcycle press from that decade.

The cover highlights the "Special 50 cm3: 19 mopeds tested" feature, printed in large blue letters, and also announces a "Super Poster" as well as a Paris Dakar comparison: the car-motorcycle match. The central photograph shows a race driver in action on a competition motorcycle, number 2, with a blue helmet marked "NOLAN" and a brown suit, emphasizing the racing atmosphere and the sporting world of the magazine. The "Bultaco" brand is also visible on the motorcycle, referencing the iconic machines of the era.

The top right corner announces a "Cross: New Montesa" focus, reflecting interest in the news of major motocross brands of the time. The entire cover, with its vibrant tones (red, yellow, blue) and contrasting typographies, perfectly illustrates the French vintage motorcycle specialized press of the 80s.

The spine of the magazine is visible and shows a slight patina, indicating past use, with no major apparent defects on the shown face. The paper has a slightly satin surface, typical of magazine publishing from this period, with colors still vibrant.

This issue is a retro press item, sought after for its moped tests, its reports on the Paris Dakar, and its iconography typical of the world of vintage motorcycles.
