Description
Old illustrated magazine "Pif" number 1001, identifiable by its colorful cover typical of the series, with the emblematic "Pif" logo in large yellow and red at the top of the page. This issue highlights the gadget "La Boîte Pique-Sous" and features a dynamic drawing of Pif and Hercule in action, holding the red box, accompanied by stacked coins, which reinforces the theme of the featured gadget.
On the upper right part of the cover, a "S.O.S. Fantômes Spécial Jeux" (Ghostbusters Special Games) vignette catches the eye with its vibrant colors and the drawing of a green ghost, recalling the 80s/90s universe and the diversity of playful sections in this children's magazine. In the bottom left, an insert highlights a "Spécial Boule et Bill" with an original illustration of Bill and his master Boule, adding another universe of French-language comics to this issue.
The cover shows visible signs of wear: marked corners, small stains on the white background, slight discoloration, and traces of frequent handling, typical of a vintage copy. The magazine is printed in stapled binding format, with a dominant of bright colors (yellow, red, green, black, white). The printed inscriptions at the bottom state: "Hebdomadaire 44e année – 2329" (Weekly 44th year – 2329), price displayed "10 F", ISSN 0297-4659, and barcode present.
This magazine is a typical example of French youth press from the 1990s, with its emblematic gadgets, dynamic layout, and flagship comic collaborations. The visible side here is the front cover, richly illustrated and faithful to the humorous spirit of Pif Gadget.
