Description

This magazine is an old copy of the famous weekly comic book "Spirou". The cover features a dynamic and humorous scene typical of the magazine's spirit, with a caricatured character fleeing from several fantastic creatures, including a skeleton, a pumpkin-headed ghost, and a spectral white creature. The richly colored illustration adopts a graphic style recognizable from the 1990s, with strong lines and an expressive use of dark and bright colors to accentuate the supernatural atmosphere.

In the upper left, the "Spirou" logo is partially obscured by the illustration but remains easily identifiable. Issue number 3346 is clearly indicated, as is the original price (€1.60), and the M 03251 reference. The phrase "Pierre qui court n’amasse pas frousse!" (A rolling stone gathers no fear!) takes up a large part of the cover in red capital letters, immediately catching the eye. The barcode and other legal mentions also appear on the front cover.

The magazine is displayed flat on a wooden background, which highlights its cover. There is slight wear on the edges and some handling marks, typical of a vintage copy but without any major apparent damage. The left spine shows a slight sagging, probably due to storage or repeated consultation, but the cover remains well attached and the print colors have remained vibrant.

The cover illustration stands out for its dynamic composition, typical of special or thematic issues. The humorous graphic style characteristic of Spirou is noticeable, particularly in the exaggerated expressions of the characters and the use of whimsical monsters. The style clearly evokes the 1990s, confirmed by the numbering and the price in francs/euros.

The magazine is stapled, with a standard format for this type of publication. No details about the interior content are visible, but the cover suggests the presence of comic strips and entertaining sections, in accordance with the tradition of Spirou magazine.

Condition

Used item sold as is. Slight traces of wear on the edges and spine, but the cover is in good overall condition for a magazine of this era.

Did you know? Spirou has been published continuously since 1938, making it one of the oldest French-language comic weeklies. Issue 3346 corresponds to a publication from 2002, a period marked by very creative thematic covers and the introduction of young authors to the magazine.
