Description

This featured magazine is a copy of the famous weekly "Spirou," issue number 3308. The cover features an illustration by A. Geerts, centered on the character Jojo, an emblematic figure of Franco-Belgian comic strips. The visual depicts children on a bench, one of whom is wearing an American football outfit, accompanied by a blue badge "Also featuring Super B.A. the Wondernable girl." The main title on the cover announces "She's shy but Jojo treats her," in colorful and dynamic typography, typical of the 1990s-2000s.

The "Spirou" logo is printed at the top of the cover, in its characteristic graphic version from that period, with the mention "Heroes and heroines for sale." The issue number (3308) is clearly visible in the upper left corner, as is the price range in French francs (10.50 F), confirming an edition prior to the euro. The side edge specifies "Weekly – 64th year – 48 pages."

The cover's color palette oscillates between cream, beige, brown, and red tones, with touches of blue and yellow, offering a retro look faithful to the Spirou aesthetic of the late 20th century. The original illustration occupies almost the entire page, featuring characters with marked expressiveness, typical of the humorous style of the Jojo series.

The lower left corner displays a barcode with the reference M 3251 – 3308 – 10.50 F, as well as other price indications for Switzerland and Belgium. No major defects are visible on the presented face: the cover appears to be in good general condition, without tears or apparent creases, apart from slight traces of wear related to handling and age, visible around the edges.

Condition

Used magazine, sold as is. Front cover generally well preserved, with no visible snags on the photographed surface. Some minor traces of wear or rubbing on the edges may be observed, consistent with an older copy.

Did you know? Spirou magazine, launched in 1938 by Dupuis editions, is one of the oldest comic weekly magazines still published in Europe. It has revealed many major series and authors of Franco-Belgian comics, including André Geerts, creator of the character Jojo, much appreciated for his tender and humorous tone.
