Description

Here is a copy of the weekly Spirou magazine, number 3343, presented here with its cover illustrated with a colorful wrestling scene, characteristic of the graphic style of Franco-Belgian comics from the 1990s. The cover features the emblematic "SPROU" logo at the top, with number 3343 clearly indicated on the top left edge. Two wrestling characters, one wearing a blue and white star mask, the other dressed in leopard shorts and matching boots, are engaged in a spectacular hold against the backdrop of a stylized ring, in a dynamic and expressive composition.

At the bottom, the title banner "QUI SE CACHE DERRIÈRE TOUT ÇA ?" (WHO IS HIDING BEHIND ALL THIS?) in white letters on a black background, adds a touch of mystery typical of Spirou's layout. Also present are the price (1.60 ?), the reference M 03251-3343, and the indication "HEBDOMADAIRE 48 PAGES" (WEEKLY 48 PAGES) at the bottom of the cover, authentic elements of an old Spirou edition. The spine hints at the presence of other magazines stored behind it, but only issue 3343 is concerned here.

The color palette of the cover combines vivid tones (blue, red, leopard yellow) on a black and white background, with star details and secondary characters drawn around the logo, in the humorous tradition of Spirou. The texts and images are sharp, with no apparent illegibility on the front cover.

The magazine has a flat surface, with no major deformation observable on the front. There is a slight curl and some traces of handling on the upper right edge, typical of a used magazine that has circulated. No significant snags or visible stains on the main cover. The lower edge shows an original blue Spirou label, confirming the authenticity of the copy.

This issue is in line with Spirou publications, renowned for their humor, emblematic comics, and covers illustrated by recognized artists of the 9th art. The wrestling illustration, which is uncommon in the series, gives this issue a distinctive visual appeal for fans of vintage graphics and comic book pop culture.

Condition

Used magazine, sold as is. Slight handling marks and curl visible on the cover, with no major tears or apparent stains on the front.

Did you know? Spirou magazine, launched in 1938 by Dupuis editions, is one of the oldest weekly comic books still published in Europe. It gave rise to cult series such as "Spirou et Fantasio", "Gaston Lagaffe" or "Boule et Bill", and contributed to the international expansion of Franco-Belgian comics.
