Description

This issue of Spirou magazine, No. 3376, features a striking cover illustration on the theme "Mèche Rebelle" (Rebellious Lock). Against a dark green background, an ornate frame with plant motifs surrounds nine drawn faces, including that of a young girl wearing a Christmas hat, highlighted in the center. The overall visual is characteristic of Franco-Belgian comics, with colorful and expressive graphics. The "SPIROU" logo in yellow and red stands out in the upper left, accompanied by the Spirou mascot.

The phrase "Her name is Kim. She is 15 years old and she is going to die..." crosses the lower part of the cover on a wide pink band, probably announcing the main story of this issue. A round sticker also indicates specific content on page 34. The publication number (No. 3376) is indicated in the upper left, as well as the original price (€1.60), the date (24/12/2003), and the barcode in the lower left, all perfectly legible.

The spine of the magazine, visible on the left, shows a stapled binding typical of comic magazines. The corners of the cover show slight signs of wear, mainly on the lower left edge and the upper right corner, indicating moderate handling. The surface has a matte appearance, without particular shine, and the colors remain vibrant despite time.

The graphic style of the cover, the typography, and the layout are typical of Spirou magazines published in the early 2000s. The background of the photo, composed of shelves of old books and vintage objects, highlights the retro character and history of this iconic European youth comic publication.

This Spirou magazine is an illustrated weekly, renowned for its popular comic series and collaborations with major artists of the 9th art. The copy presented here constitutes a visual and editorial testimony to the late 2003 edition, with a winter theme and a spotlight on striking characters.
