Description This is an illustrated comic magazine, specifically issue 3458 of Spirou, as clearly indicated on the top left of the cover ("3458"). This issue stands out with its black and brown cover, animated by a central drawing depicting the character Spip, the iconic squirrel of the series, appearing to be sinking with bubbles rising to the surface. The main title in stylized capital letters "SPIROU" occupies the upper part, surmounted by a frieze of vignettes featuring various characters from the Spirou universe.

The phrase "LA FIN DE SPIP." (THE END OF SPIP.) is printed in white on the right side of the cover, giving this issue a striking and sought-after character among magazine enthusiasts. The dominant colors are black, brown, and touches of bright colors in the upper vignettes. The lower part of the cover features excerpts from articles or sections, including "AYMOND, the designer of Lady S", "Docteur Je Sais Tout", "No vacation for Petite Lucie", which attests to the rich editorial content of this issue.

The spine of the magazine is visible on the left, bearing the barcode and the original price (€1.60), as well as the reference "M 03251 - 3458 F". No major defects are visible on the front face apart from a slight mark near the right edge. The binding appears intact on the visible part.

The graphic style of the cover is contemporary with the late 2000s, which corresponds to the magazine's high numbering. The overall aesthetic, logo, and presentation are typical of modern Spirou editions, while highlighting a significant event in the series featuring the character Spip.

Condition Used magazine, sold as is. The cover has a slight mark on the right side but remains in good overall condition for a publication of this type.

Did you know? Spip, the squirrel, first appeared in the Spirou series in 1939. A faithful companion to Spirou, he became one of the most recognizable secondary characters in the journal. The disappearance or change of Spip's role in the series has often left a mark on readers of several generations.
