Description
An illustrated comic book magazine, this is issue 3485 of Spirou, displayed upright on a wooden surface with a library of old books in the background. The cover features humorous graphics typical of this title, with a corpulent character accompanied by a green lizard carrying a basket, under a "BUS" sign. The main title in orange and black letters announces: "Jacques: Y a comme un lézard dans Spirou!" (Jacques: There's something fishy in Spirou!). The top of the cover highlights several excerpts from colorful comic strips, including "Théodore Poussin: rififi sous les noix de coco" (Theodore Poussin: trouble under the coconuts). The overall layout, matte colors, and drawing style evoke a magazine from the late 2000s to 2010s, consistent with Spirou's contemporary visual identity.

The iconic "SPIROU" logo appears large, on a light green background, immediately recognizable. The left spine indicates the issue number (3485), the date (partially visible: May 27, 2004), and the price (€1.60). Several editorial mentions appear at the bottom of the cover, as well as the barcode, proof of a recent newsstand publication.

The entire cover is in good general condition based on the visible area, with no apparent major tears or folds. Some discreet traces or marks are visible, typical of a circulated copy. The colors remain vibrant, and the paper appears to retain its flatness.

This issue features an original and quirky drawing on its cover, characteristic of Spirou magazine's humorous tone. It is part of the tradition of Franco-Belgian weekly comic strip magazines, bringing together new pages, continuing series, and sections on comic book news each week.

The back, interior, and condition of the pages are not visible in the photo and therefore cannot be described.

Did you know? Spirou magazine, launched in 1938 by Dupuis editions, is one of the oldest comic strip weeklies still in activity. It gave birth to great classics of the 9th art, including "Spirou et Fantasio," "Gaston Lagaffe," and "Le Petit Spirou."
