Description

This magazine, visible in the photo, is a vintage copy of the famous weekly "Tintin," aimed at young people aged 7 to 77, as indicated by the top banner. The colorful cover features graphics typical of the 1980s, with a drawing highlighting the characters Gilles Roux and Marie Meuse, under the title "Graines de Famine" (Seeds of Famine). In the background, a red hot-air balloon, a dune landscape, a car, and characters in action are visible, giving the scene an adventurous atmosphere. The dynamic layout and use of bold colors (blue, pink, yellow, red) are characteristic of this period of European comics.

In the upper left, the "Tintin" logo is displayed in large pink letters on a blue background, accompanied by the slogan "L’hebdomadaire des super-jeunes de 7 à 77 ans" (The weekly for super-youngsters aged 7 to 77). Tintin's mascot, a character in winter attire, is in the upper right corner. A banner also announces the inclusion of a poster featuring "sled dogs," printed in red and blue letters on a light background. The overall design, with its colorful announcements and framed sections, reflects the editorial aesthetic typical of 1980s youth press.

In the lower right part, the mention "1986" indicates the publication date of this issue. The lower left corner features a white label with internal references, typical of archived or library copies. The visible spine and cover appear to be in good general condition, with no apparent tears on this side, although slight signs of wear are noticeable.

The magazine is displayed on a wooden surface, next to antique books, which highlights its vintage authenticity. No other accessories or internal content (poster, inner pages) are visible in this photograph, only the cover is exposed.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The visible cover is in good condition, with bright colors and slightly marked corners. Light traces of use and patina, consistent with the age of the object. Details about the interior or the poster are not visible.

Did you know? "Tintin" magazine was launched in 1946 by Editions du Lombard in Belgium, becoming one of Europe's largest comic book periodicals. It helped discover many major authors of the 9th art, including Hergé, Edgar P. Jacobs, and Bob de Moor. The series "Gilles Roux et Marie Meuse," featured on the cover of this issue, is one of the emblematic creations published in the 1980s.
