Description

This magazine, visible in the photo, is an issue of the famous weekly comic "Tintin." This is a special edition, as indicated by the "special edition" tag in the keywords and the distinct graphic presentation on the cover. The front cover features a large illustration of a lively saloon scene, typical of Chick Bill's humorous Western universe. The scene is teeming with characters drawn in the classic Franco-Belgian comic style, with numerous details and vibrant colors: checkered clothes, cowboy hats, overturned tables, and a general brawl.

The title "Tintin" appears prominently at the top of the cover, printed in vivid red against an illustrated background, immediately recognizable to any comic book enthusiast. The word "nouveau" (new) is partially visible in black, superimposed over the title. The bottom of the cover displays the main story title in a white cartouche: "CHICK BILL dans la maison du plus fort" (CHICK BILL in the strongest man's house). This graphic choice highlights the humorous Western series by Tibet, a flagship of the magazine.

On the left edge, the issue number (n°140) is clearly visible, as well as the period prices for France (3.50 F) and Switzerland (2.50 F), typical indicators for magazines from the 1970s-1980s. The cover is soft, illustrated in four-color process, and has a matte finish. No details of the back or interior are visible in this image.

The observable condition shows some signs of use: slightly blunted corners, the upper edge of the front cover is a little curled, but the visual remains very legible and the colors well-preserved. No major chips or apparent tears on the visible side.

The cover highlights the dynamism and humorous spirit that made Tintin magazine and the Chick Bill series famous among French-speaking readers. Tibet's immediately identifiable artwork reinforces the vintage appeal of this issue.

Condition

Used magazine sold as is. Shows visible signs of wear on the cover, including creased corners and slight handling marks. Colors remain clear and the main illustration is well-preserved.
