Description

This magazine shown in the photo is a vintage copy of the weekly "Tintin", French edition, No. 35 dated August 26, 1986. The cover features typical Franco-Belgian comic book graphics from the 80s, with the famous "Tintin" logo in green on a yellow background, immediately recognizable. The central element of the front page is dedicated to "Chick Bill: La grotte mystérieuse" (The Mysterious Cave), illustrated with several colorful vignettes in the classic style of the series. The title "CHICK BILL" appears in bright orange letters, surmounting a blue banner "LA GROTTE MYSTÉRIEUSE".

In the lower part, a yellow insert draws attention to cinema content: "Interview Christophe Lambert", with a two-tone blue/black and red typography, indicating a special section inside the issue. The characters drawn on the cover wear Western attire, typical of the Chick Bill universe, with details like boots, plaid shirts, scarves, and hats, against a backdrop evoking the Wild West.

The spine visible on the left shows a pale pink classification label with the mention "MAG. 5172-5172 - 35F", confirming its intended use in a newsstand or library. The upper part of the magazine mentions the selling prices in francs for different French-speaking countries, as well as the tagline "L'hebdomadaire des super-jeunes de 7 à 77 ans" (The weekly for super-young people aged 7 to 77).

The item features a flexible cover predominantly blue and yellow, with brilliant four-color printing. The lower right corner clearly indicates the date "26-8-86", allowing authentication of the publication period. The visual condition shows a copy generally well-preserved for its age, with some slight signs of wear on the edges and corners, typical of a vintage magazine handled with care.

Condition

This magazine is second-hand and sold as-is. Some visible signs of use and rubbing on the cover, slightly blunted corners, interior not visible in the photo. Good overall appearance for a 1986 copy.

Did you know? The "Tintin" magazine was launched in 1946 by Raymond Leblanc in Belgium. It played a major role in the dissemination of Franco-Belgian comics, revealing many iconic authors and series such as "Blake and Mortimer", "Chick Bill", and "Ric Hochet".
