Description

The magazine shown in the photo is an old issue of the weekly "Tintin," an emblematic publication of Franco-Belgian comics. The cover features a striking illustration depicting the sinking of the Titanic, with the bow of the liner sinking into the water and several lifeboats filled with characters in a comic strip style, typical of the Franco-Belgian school. The catchy title "Tous les secrets du TITANIC" (All the secrets of the TITANIC) occupies the bottom of the front page, with a contrasting color scheme: purple text and bright yellow for the word "TITANIC."

At the top left, the "Tintin" logo is printed large in pink, accompanied by a small character in the upper margin, and the mention "L'hebdomadaire des super-jeunes de 7 à 77 ans" (The weekly for super-young people from 7 to 77 years old). Two drawn characters are also visible to the right of the logo. A white handwritten sticker is visible at the top right. The date printed at the bottom right of the cover is "28-11-45," which probably corresponds to the publication date of this issue. The cover illustration is signed "Ferry," a regular cartoonist for the magazine.

The magazine is displayed upright, slightly tilted, against a background of a wooden bookshelf and old books, which highlights its vintage appearance and the overall condition of the paper. The colors of the cover are well preserved, with a marked contrast between the black of the liner, the aqua green of the background, and the warm tones of the characters and boats.

The observed format is that of classic mass-market weekly comic magazines from the 1970s-1980s, with a soft, glossy cover. No major defects are visible on the front: no marked creases, tears, or apparent stains. The upper left corner shows a very slight curve, typical of vertical storage, without affecting legibility or the general appearance.

At the bottom of the cover, a white label bearing the reference "M2237 - S33 - 8FF" is affixed, suggesting a classification or internal reference.

This Tintin magazine is pre-owned and sold as is. The visible cover shows good overall preservation, with no major apparent defects on the front.
