Description

This vintage magazine, visible in the photo, is a special issue of the famous weekly "Tintin." It is a "Special" edition, dated 1985, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Ric Hochet (1955-1985). The cover features colorful graphics typical of the 80s, with a dominant bright yellow and blue, as well as a prominent display of the character Ric Hochet in a very large format, drawn by Tibet and Duchâteau (mention visible at the bottom right of the cover).

The top banner mentions "76 pages" and highlights the specificity of the issue. A side vignette also announces the presence of a poster, which was a key selling point for this type of youth publication at the time. At the top left, we find the "Tintin" logo and the mention "The weekly for super-young people from 7 to 77 years old." The mention "Jugurtha - Les monts de la lune" is also visible at the top right.

An insert at the top left of the cover features the comic strip Ric Hochet, with the title "Ric Hochet mène le jeu" (Ric Hochet leads the game) and the mention "Notre histoire complète en images" (Our complete story in pictures). The cover also highlights the humor and double entendre characteristic of the magazine's spirit, as evidenced by the speech bubbles "Déjà?!" (Already?!) and "Pauvre vieux!" (Poor old man!).

The visible spine shows slight wear, typical of an old used magazine, with no major apparent tears. The colors of the cover remain vibrant and contrasted, which attests to a good general preservation of the main visual. The magazine rests on a wooden bookshelf background, adding a warm touch to the presentation.

This issue is an emblematic witness of the French-speaking youth press of the 1980s, bringing together the graphic and editorial codes of the period, as well as the legendary signatures of Franco-Belgian comics.

Condition

This magazine is a used item and sold as is. The cover shows visible signs of wear on the upper edge and some handling marks, without major alteration of the graphics. The colors remain vibrant. The inside and back are not visible in the photo.
