Visual Description

The magazine shown in the photo is an old issue of the famous weekly "Tintin," recognizable by its large yellow title in thick lettering against a red background. The cover features a dynamic action scene: a white and black helicopter, registered "CHP," flying over a motorboat viewed from a low angle. Two characters, drawn in the classic Franco-Belgian comic strip style of the 70s-80s, are interacting on the gangway connecting the two vehicles. The magazine highlights the title "SIGNÉ : DANGER" (SIGNED: DANGER) in large yellow letters, as well as an insert announcing "Une interview de Denayer & Duchâteau" (An interview with Denayer & Duchâteau). In the lower right corner, the mention "Les casseurs ont 10 ans !" (The Hooligans are 10 years old!) appears in purple, with the printed reference "9-4-85", likely the publication date (April 1985).

In the upper right, portraits of two iconic characters, typical of the "ligne claire" style, are also visible, next to a white insert with a partially legible handwritten annotation. The upper left corner shows a small illustration of the character Tintin, an essential graphic signature of the magazine. The spine of the magazine shows some signs of wear, typical of a vintage item that has been leafed through, with no major tears visible on the displayed side.

The overall appearance of the magazine indicates printing on flexible paper, with a cover featuring bright and contrasting colors, characteristic of 80s youth press editions. The layout and graphics are typical of the Franco-Belgian aesthetic, with clear emphasis on titles and cover illustrations.

The magazine is placed on a carved wooden table, which allows for a good appreciation of the item's visual quality and its apparent state of preservation. No accessories or supplements are visible in the photo.

Condition

This magazine is a used item, showing moderate signs of use on the spine and corners. Sold as is, as seen in the photo.

Did you know? The magazine "Tintin" was launched in 1946 and played a major role in the dissemination of Franco-Belgian comic strips. Many major authors published their first series there, and the magazine helped popularize the "ligne claire" style, of which Hergé was one of the main representatives.
