This is issue number 9 (40th year), clearly indicated at the top right of the cover. The item is indeed a comic magazine, recognizable by its characteristic presentation: square-bound paperback format, soft cover illustrated in vivid colors and the emblematic "Tintin" typography in massive turquoise lettering on a yellow background.

The cover of this issue highlights a complete story titled "Le Tombeau" (The Tomb), with a dynamic illustration signed D. Cuvelier 85.
