Description

This is an old illustrated magazine, a copy of the famous "Tintin" periodical, identifiable by its bright yellow and red logo at the top of the cover. The cover features a colorful photographic visual with Tarzan and Sheena, two iconic adventure figures, accompanied by an image of a zebra. The titles "Tarzan: Lord of the Apes" and "Sheena: Queen of the Jungle" are overprinted in brightly colored boxes (pink and green), typical of the graphic style of the 80s. A yellow insert at the bottom left announces a "Major report: In search of modern Morocco...".

The layout of the front page, with its large Tintin logo and its slogan for "super-youths from 7 to 77", reflects the visual identity of the magazine in the 1980s. The upper right corner features a white banner mentioning "Cosmic Connection", with a character drawing, a classic signature of the magazine. The dominant colors are yellow, red, green, and pink, with a full-page photographic background. The issue number visible at the top right is "N° 41", dated 1984 ("11-84" at the bottom right of the cover), confirming its authenticity of the period.

The magazine is displayed flat on a wooden table, in a library or old shelf setting. The spine and binding are not visible; only the front cover is shown. The edges of the cover appear generally clean, with no apparent tears on the visible side, although a slight curve is noticeable.

The cover surface shows a typical shine of offset prints from illustrated magazines of this period. Images and texts are perfectly legible. No major defects (stain, deep crease, tear) are visible on the exposed side, apart from some minor signs of wear on the edges.

The internal references "M2237 – 489 – 8FF" are visible at the bottom left of the cover, typical of French editions of the time.

Condition

This magazine is a used item, sold as is. The visible cover is in good overall condition for a vintage periodical, with very slight signs of handling (minor wear on the edges). The interior, binding, and back are not visible in the photo.

Did you know? The "Tintin" magazine, founded in Belgium in 1946, had a French edition starting in 1948. It contributed to the popularization of many Franco-Belgian comic book series and marked several generations of readers with its thematic covers and major illustrated reports.
