Description

The magazine shown in the photo is an original issue of the famous weekly "Tintin," an iconic publication of Franco-Belgian comics. The cover features a festive winter theme with "JOYEUX NOËL" (MERRY CHRISTMAS) in large blue letters and a colorful illustration depicting a snowman, characters in winter clothing, and a snowy landscape. A "GRAND JEU CANAL+" (BIG CANAL+ GAME) insert is also clearly visible on the upper left part of the cover.

The "Tintin" logo appears at the top, against a bright pink background, with the motto "L?HEBDOMADAIRE DES SUPER-JEUNES DE 7 À 77 ANS" (THE WEEKLY FOR SUPER-YOUNG PEOPLE FROM 7 TO 77). The upper right corner indicates issue number 49, dated December 7, 1988 (details in small print), which precisely places this magazine in the late 80s. There is also a speech bubble announcing an adventure of Pamphile and Philéas, as well as a graphic nod to the world of comics with characters drawn on the upper edge.

At the bottom of the cover is the title "OLIVIER RAMEAU ? Une poupée pour Leïla" (A Doll for Leila), revealing the main content of this issue. The dominant colors are blue, white, and pink, with typical offset printing, characteristic of the press of that period. The left side edge shows a small archiving label ("V2020 598 SU1T"), probably from an institutional or private source.

The visible surface shows a vertical brown stain in the center, affecting part of the drawing and the lower text, as well as some minor wear marks on the edges, typical of a vintage magazine that has circulated. No other major defects are visible on the presented side.

Condition

This magazine is used and sold as is, with visible traces of use (central brown stain, small marks on the edges). Only the front cover is visible in the photo; the interior condition is not documented here.

Did you know? Tintin magazine, launched in 1946, played a central role in the spread of comic strips in French-speaking Europe. Many major authors started there, including Hergé, Edgar P. Jacobs, and Greg. In the late 80s, the publication aimed at a new generation while remaining true to the "7 to 77 years old" spirit.
