Description

This magazine shown in the photo is a vintage copy of the famous weekly "Tintin," intended for the super-young aged 7 to 77. The cover features the "tintin" logo in blue letters, above an original illustration: it shows two comic book characters, one with red hair and the other with the appearance of an anthropomorphic animal, in a forest scene bathed in luminous rays. The typical layout of European comic magazines from the late 20th century is noticeable by the use of vibrant colors and catchy lettering.

In the upper right corner, a vignette announces the presence of "THORGAL – LA CITÉ DU DIEU PERDU" (THORGAL – THE CITY OF THE LOST GOD), indicating the publication of an episode of the cult series in this issue. On the left side of the cover, you will find the title "HUGO la prisonnière" (HUGO the prisoner) in distinctive red and green characters. In a blue insert, it also notes "CETTES SEMAINE POSTER MAI AVEC CLIFTON" (THIS WEEK POSTER MAY WITH CLIFTON).

The magazine features an illustrated cover, typical of Tintin publications from the 1980s, with a recognizable aesthetic and soft paper printing. The upper and lower right corners, as well as the spine, are visible in the photo and appear to be in good general condition, with no apparent tears or major missing parts on this side. The dominant color of the cover is a gradient of greens and yellows, contrasting with the colorful characters in the center.

The upper part mentions the price in francs and the publication reference, characteristic elements of the era. No supplement or accessory is visible in the photo; only the front cover is presented here.

Condition

This Tintin magazine is a used item, sold as is. The visible copy has a clean cover, with no visible snags on the front, and good overall integrity. Any wear or possible defects on the back or inside cannot be assessed from this image.

Did you know? Tintin magazine was launched in 1946 and marked several generations of French-speaking readers. It hosted iconic series such as Thorgal, Blake and Mortimer, and Ric Hochet, greatly contributing to the spread of Franco-Belgian comics throughout Europe.
