This Sanyo Mini Talk-Book TRC 3580 portable tape recorder is a miniature cassette dictaphone, typical of 1980s-1990s audio equipment. Rectangular in shape, it features a black front with a matte finish, with a large circular grille for the integrated speaker in the lower part. In the upper part, a rectangular window clearly shows the inserted miniature cassette, as well as the "SANYO" logo screen-printed in white just below.

The control panel, located on the top of the device, features several white inscriptions: "RECORD", "REVIEW", "STOP", "PLAY", "PREVIEW". A red indicator light is present next to the main button, probably dedicated to recording. The model "MINI TALK-BOOK TRC 3580" is clearly mentioned under the cassette window, confirming the precise reference of this dictaphone.
