Description

This antique pressure gauge is a hydraulic pressure measuring instrument, featuring a round dial with a white background graduated from 0 to 160 meters of water. The dial displays "mètres d'eau" (meters of water) at the bottom, clearly indicating the unit of measurement used, which is typical for old pressure control devices for hydraulic networks or installations. The central black needle, tapered in shape, is fixed on a visible axis.

The perimeter of the dial is encircled by a metallic-finish mount, likely chrome-plated or nickel-plated metal, showing a slight patina and some traces of oxidation, characteristic of prolonged use and age. The dial's glass has some signs of wear and small scratches visible on the front, without hindering the readability of the graduations.

The pressure gauge is equipped with a threaded metal connection, consisting of a hexagonal nut, an intermediate brass part with a golden appearance, and a tapered end terminated by a black cap, likely made of synthetic material.
