This antique manometer is a hydrostatic pressure measuring instrument, designed to indicate water height in meters. The object features a circular face protected by glass, with a graduated scale from 0 to 6 "MÈTRES D'EAU" (METERS OF WATER), clearly legible on the upper part of the dial. The thin, straight black needle is affixed at its center by a visible screw, typical of industrial measuring devices from the mid-20th century.

The dial has a patinated white background, marked by traces of wear and dirt, testifying to its age and use. The rim of the casing displays a metallic finish with a chrome-like appearance, showing traces of oxidation and scratches on the upper left side.
