Description

This antique PRELAC brand pressure gauge is a measuring device designed to indicate pressure, visible on a dial graduated in kilograms per square centimeter (KIL.C.M.Q.) and pounds per square inch (LBS/Q). The dial features a scale ranging from 0 to 7, with precise intermediate graduations, and a central needle for direct reading. The entire unit is protected by a domed, patinated brass-colored face, which gives the object a vintage and industrial look.

The front face bears the inscription "MANOMETRE PRELAC", as well as a peripheral mention that is difficult to read, probably related to manufacturing or a serial number. The PRELAC brand is prominently displayed in a central embossed cartouche, which reinforces the authenticity of this technical instrument.

The object has a metallic finish, typical of measuring devices from the early to mid-20th century. The visible patina on the surface bears witness to past use, with some traces of oxidation and slight signs of wear, particularly around the dial and on the rim.

To the right of the object (visible face), a metallic threaded fitting suggests wall mounting or connection to a measuring circuit. The overall shape is cylindrical, with a domed front face and technical typography characteristic of old industrial instruments.
