This old oval medal features a finely engraved visible side bearing the inscription "PELERINAGE DU ROSAIRE A NOTRE-DAME DE LOURDES" (ROSARY PILGRIMAGE TO OUR LADY OF LOURDES) in raised capital letters. The text is arranged over several lines, centered, and topped with a five-pointed star. The attachment is a simple bail, associated with a metal ring to allow attachment to a chain or cord. The whole shows a marked patina of use, with areas of oxidation and homogeneous wear, characteristic of an old object that has been used for a long time in a context of devotion or pilgrimage.

The surface has a dark hue, typical of old medals with a patinated metallic appearance, with no explicit indication of material in the photo or keywords.
