This oval religious medal, also known as the "Miraculous Medal," is made of gold-finished metal, as shown in the photo. The presented side features a relief representation of the Virgin Mary standing with open arms. The halo, posture, and drapery details are finely molded, typical of Catholic religious medal productions.

Around the Virgin, the embossed inscription is perfectly legible: "O MARY CONCEIVED WITHOUT SIN PRAY FOR US WHO HAVE RECOURSE TO THEE - 1830." This inscription, along with the date, refers to the apparition of the Virgin to Saint Catherine Labouré in Paris, a foundational event for the Miraculous Medal.

The edge of the medal is smooth, without additional decoration, which highlights the central scene and the inscription. The suspension ring, also made of gold-finished metal, is firmly attached and shows a patina from use, indicating the item's age.

The dominant color is a luminous matte gold, with no traces of enamel or polychromy. The surface shows some signs of wear and small stains visible on the Virgin, indicative of regular use and wear. No hallmarks are visible on the photographed side.
