Description

This religious pendant depicts the famous Miraculous Medal, a classic of Christian jewelry. Oval in shape, it features a raised image of the Virgin Mary standing with open arms, surrounded by an inscription in capital letters around the edge. The medal has a uniform, shiny gold finish, typical of 20th-century devotional objects. The number 1830 is clearly visible at the base, recalling the date of the apparition of the Virgin to Saint Catherine Labouré in Paris, from which this iconography originated.

The contour of the pendant is smooth, with a circular bail integrated into the same material, allowing it to be easily attached to a chain or cord. The peripheral inscription, although partially legible in the photo, mentions the traditional invocation: "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." The surface of the pendant has a slightly patinated appearance, revealing a gentle, homogeneous wear that highlights its vintage character.
