Description

This "Miraculous Medal" type religious medal has an oval shape with an integrated bail for suspension. Made of metal (material confirmed by the keywords), it features a patinated silver finish, typical of old religious objects. On the visible side, the medal depicts the Virgin Mary standing, arms open, in a classic posture of the "Miraculous" medal. Embossed text surrounds the figure, partially legible in the photo, in a simple lettering style characteristic of 20th-century French religious productions.

The central motif highlights the silhouette of Mary, whose details of the veil, hands, and dress are finely outlined despite a homogeneous wear patina.
