Description
This rectangular medal features a relief scene inspired by the literary work Don Quixote. On the visible side, one can clearly distinguish the silhouette of a character mounted on a horse, identifiable by his characteristic pointed helmet, as well as another figure standing with their back to the viewer, who appears to be Sancho Panza or another protagonist of the scene. The inscription "DON QUICHOTTE" appears in the upper left, in raised capital letters.

The object is designed in a figurative style, with relief work that highlights the characters and their attributes. The overall piece has a dark, patinated finish, with some traces of verdigris and lighter areas of wear, giving the medal an aged and authentic material effect. The border is straight, with slightly rounded corners, and a molded ring allows for suspension or hanging.

The surface shows shades ranging from dark brown to verdigris, typical of an old patina. The motifs are clear, although some details are softened by natural wear visible in the photo. The medal is solid, without openwork, and the visible side shows no discernible manufacturer's marks or year.

The object is presented vertically in the photo, placed on a light background that highlights the contrast of the medal. No details are visible on the reverse or the sides not exposed in the image. The reliefs are well-defined, especially the equestrian figure and the text, which accentuates the decorative and commemorative effect of the piece.

Condition
Used item sold as is. The visible side shows traces of wear, a marked patina, and some areas of surface alteration, including green marks typical of superficial oxidation. No restoration or modification is visible on the front face.
