Rare antique religious medal made of metal, for use as a pendant. The piece features a round shape, with a large suspension loop integrated into the upper part, allowing for easy wear on a chain or cord. On the visible side, the finely crafted relief depicts the profile of the Virgin Mary, head covered with a veil, facing right. The inscription in capital letters "AVE MARIA" frames the figure, highlighting the Marian devotion typical of Catholic devotional objects. The sculptor's name "MASSIN" is discreetly engraved at the bottom right of the motif.
