This antique religious medal features a classic round shape with an integrated bail for suspension. On the obverse, the relief showcases a detailed representation of the Virgin and Child, the central motif of the medal, surrounded by a partially legible raised inscription: "PRIEZ POUR NOUS" (Pray for us) and "ND DE TOURNEMIRE" (Our Lady of Tournemire), typical of French religious craftsmanship. The piece has a gilded finish with a patinated appearance, showing areas of wear that attest to its age and past use.

The surface of the medal displays slight irregularities and visible oxidation marks, characteristic of old spiritual objects. The relief work is finely detailed: the drapery of the clothing and the faces are well-drawn, although the details have been softened by time.
