This antique Catholic religious medal features a round, scalloped shape, reminiscent of pious medals from the early to mid-20th century. The visible side features a raised motif depicting the veiled Virgin Mary, in profile, with her hands clasped in prayer. The whole is surrounded by a decorative eight-scallop border, adding extra refinement to the piece.

The medal has a brilliant gilded finish with a patination slightly dulled by time, which highlights its vintage and authentic character. The details of the face and veil are well defined, revealing careful striking work. The edge features a partially legible inscription, typical of Marian medals, although some characters remain difficult to decipher in the photo.

A metal suspension ring, with a patinated appearance, is directly integrated into the medal. This ring allows the pendant to be easily worn on a chain or cord, for daily use or during religious ceremonies.
