Description

This old Catholic religious medal has a hexagonal shape with softened edges, and an integrated bail at the top allowing it to be hung on a chain or cord. On the visible side, a raised pattern depicts the Virgin Mary with open arms, in a traditional iconography of the Miraculous Virgin. The relief work offers a beautiful depth to the scene, accentuated by a matte finish and a patinated appearance that evokes a certain age of the piece.

The angular yet regular outline of the medal highlights the central scene and gives the whole a sober and authentic look. The surface shows slight signs of wear that contribute to its vintage charm, typical of devotional objects that have spanned decades. The gray color with dark reflections suggests an old metal, without excessive brilliance, with a natural patina visible on the reliefs and hollows.
