This antique religious medal features an elegant heart shape and an intricate, embossed outline with a luminous golden appearance. At its center, under a domed transparent cabochon, is a representation of the Virgin and Child, in soft blue, gold, and ivory tones. The central motif, in a classic style, evokes the pious medal productions of the late 19th or early 20th century, although the exact period cannot be formally attested without further evidence.

The setting has an embossed border composed of regular round motifs, enhancing the decorative effect and the light on the whole. The suspension ring, visible at the top, is silver-colored, contrasting slightly with the warm hue of the main setting.

The religious scene, though slightly faded by time, remains recognizable thanks to the blue veil and the maternal posture. The main visible colors are deep blue, the gold of the halo, and the light beige of the face and clothing.
