Description

This vintage Lourdes religious medal has a round shape with an integrated eyelet, suitable for wearing as a pendant or hanging. On the visible side, a relief depicts the scene of the Virgin's apparition in Lourdes: the haloed Virgin Mary, in prayer, faces a young girl also kneeling in a posture of contemplation. A flying dove is sculpted above the scene, a traditional symbol of the Holy Spirit.

The surface has a matte silver metallic appearance, with no precise material indication in the photo or keywords. The entire decoration is in slight relief, offering a depth effect and increased legibility of the motifs. The inscription "JE SUIS L’IMMACULÉE CONCEPTION" (I AM THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION) is engraved in capital letters, partially in an arc around the Virgin, highlighting the spiritual origin of the object and its connection to the sanctuary of Lourdes.

The central motif, very characteristic of the Lourdes medal, highlights piety and fervor, with a balanced composition between the figures and the dove. The bail is thick and rounded, integrated directly into the medal, ensuring robustness and ease of hanging on a chain or ribbon.
