This antique religious medal features a classic round shape, with an eyelet integrated into the mass to allow attachment to a chain or cord. The visible side shows in relief the right profile of a veiled female figure, hands joined in prayer, holding a rosary. This is a traditional representation of the Virgin Mary, recognizable by her veil and the partially visible inscription "AVE MARIA" in an arc on the upper right part.
