Description

This antique religious medal features an original octagonal shape, with a cut-corner outline and an integrated suspension ring at the top. On the visible side, it boasts a relief depicting the profile of a veiled Virgin, finely crafted in a deep blue with gradations, lending the whole a marked artistic dimension. The medal's frame shows a patinated golden finish, which elegantly contrasts with the bluish central part.

The Virgin's face is shown in left profile, with delicate features and a structured veil, characteristic of 20th-century Marian iconography. The surface reveals a textured material effect, with slight verdigris and navy blue nuances, evoking an enamel technique or a painted decoration on a metallic background. The golden edge presents visual irregularities typical of an antique piece, highlighting its authenticity and vintage charm.

The upper ring, also with a golden finish, is securely attached and allows it to be worn as a pendant or attached to a rosary.
