Description

This antique religious medal depicts the Virgin Mary in profile on one visible side, in a clean, classic style. The object has an oval shape with a round bail integrated into the upper part, allowing it to be used as a pendant or to attach the medal to a rosary or chain.

The edge of the medal has a patinated finish, with visible golden hues. The background is adorned with light blue enamel divided into four distinct areas, creating a stark contrast with the central metallic-looking surface. The portrait of the Virgin, in slight relief, stands out with its sober and stylized lines, typical of religious production from the early to mid-20th century.

On the visible side, there are slight traces of wear, particularly on the gilding of the portrait and on the blue enamel, which shows some chips and missing parts, mainly on the bottom left. No text or markings are legible on this side. The bail and ring also have a homogeneous patina, attesting to the object's age.
