Description This antique promotional miniature bottle depicts a small, anthropomorphic flask in the shape of a naked male figure, standing, with a round face and abundant hair molded onto the upper part. The bottle has an orange-brown hue, typical of stoneware or glazed ceramics from the second half of the 20th century, with visible signs of wear on the surface attesting to its age. The stylized face, with naive and refined features, has two round eyes and a prominent nose, sculpted into the material. The facial and head hair is accentuated by a pronounced relief, while the body displays arms alongside the torso and a male anatomical detail in bas-relief, characteristic of some humorous promotional items from the 60s-70s.

The flask is topped with a patinated, gilded metal screw cap, which closes the opening located at the top of the head. At the base, a partially legible label bears the inscription "ADAN", indicating the brand or reference of the alcoholic product originally contained in this miniature bottle. Remains of other inscriptions are also visible, but only a few characters remain identifiable. The base of the flask is slightly widened, ensuring good stability when the object is placed down.

The surface shows multiple chips and signs of wear, particularly on the prominent parts of the face, hair, and limbs, which indicates prolonged handling and storage. White marks appear on the reliefs, probably due to enamel chipping or repeated friction. The overall appearance remains consistent, with an authentic patina and a typical brown-ochre coloration for this type of decorative vintage flask.

The compact shape and matte finish give this miniature bottle a rustic yet humorous look, typical of promotional alcohol items from the mid-20th century. The whole is immediately recognizable thanks to its unique silhouette and the presence of the ADAN brand on the front label.

Condition Used item, sold as is. Shows signs of wear, enamel chips, and a pronounced patina, especially on the reliefs and the base. The metal cap shows signs of superficial oxidation. The label is partially faded but the "ADAN" brand remains legible.

Did you know? Anthropomorphic miniature bottles were frequently used as promotional items for spirits in the 1960s-70s, particularly in France. They served as both miniature flasks and humorous souvenirs, often given away at fairs or promotional events, and were made of stoneware, ceramic, or molded glass.
