Visual Description

This Martell Cognac miniature is a small, slender glass bottle, characteristic of miniature formats. The bottle is olive green, with a long, narrow neck topped with a metal cap with a gold and black finish. The original label is clearly visible on the front, displaying the Martell crest as well as various inscriptions in French, including "FONDÉE EN 1715" (FOUNDED IN 1715) and "Le Cognac MARTELL, fruit d'une tradition jalousement préservée depuis sa fondation en 1715…" (Martell Cognac, the fruit of a tradition jealously preserved since its founding in 1715…). The text highlights the history and expertise of the Martell house, one of the oldest French cognac houses.

The bottle has a shiny surface, with some visible traces of residue or dust, testifying to its age. The liquid level inside is clearly visible: a small amount of amber cognac remains in the upper part of the neck. The whole suggests an old product, preserved in its original state.

The label's graphics, with its traditional typography and central crest, evoke a classic style, probably from the second half of the 20th century, in line with the "vintage" keyword. No vintage or serial number is legible on the visible side.

The miniature format of this Martell mignonette, as well as the authentic condition of its cap and label, make it a representative example of the promotional or tasting bottles produced by major cognac houses for the promotion or discovery of their spirits.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The bottle shows visible signs of age (dust, deposits on the glass), the label has a patina and some marks of time. The liquid level is partial, as seen in the photo. Unopened cap with original appearance.

Did you know? The Martell house, founded in 1715 in Cognac, is one of the oldest cognac houses still in operation. Mignonettes were traditionally used as samples or promotional items, allowing people to discover a house's style without opening a large bottle.
